After serving as head of talent development at Fujitsu and SI vendors, in corporate planning at an operating company, and as an HR consultant at KPMG Consulting, he went independent as a talent and organization development consultant.

Trained directly by Professor Michael J. Marquardt of the George Washington University Graduate School of Human Resource Development in the Action Learning coach program, he participated in founding GIAL Japan (now the NPO Japan Action Learning Association) and became its director. Aiming to bring Action Learning into full-scale use in Japanese companies, he then founded Action Learning Solutions Inc. and became its Representative Director. To spread the effectiveness of organization development, proven through consulting for small, large, and foreign companies, he also founded the Japan Team Building Association (JTBA) and serves as its Representative Director.
