In an age of globalization and increasingly complex regional challenges,
the people who create a sustainable future are not someone special,
but each of us, through our own awareness and action.
The Kyushu-Taiwan Future Institute
is building a network of learning and co-creation across borders, centered on education, industry, and culture,
and embarking on the challenge of creating the future of our regions and the world together.
Our starting point is "learning from our neighbors":
and believing in our own passion and talent, and unleashing them into society.
From Kyushu and Taiwan, a challenge to move the world toward the future begins here.

Our Philosophy
Bringing together the wisdom of our regions to create a sustainable future for society, the economy, and culture.
Based in two regions, Kyushu and Taiwan,
we open spaces for learning and co-creation that cross every boundary.
Beyond national borders, we connect the knowledge and experience of people from diverse positions and backgrounds,
across industry, education, local governments and civic groups, different industries and sectors, genders and generations, and local communities,
building a network where everyone learns from one another.
Together with the next-generation leaders nurtured through this cross-border dialogue and practice,
we drive practical projects and realize global partnerships that spread from our regions to the world.
We believe these efforts will become the foundation for a sustainable future.

Population decline, regional stagnation, and increasingly complex global challenges.

By joining hands and nurturing challenges and co-creation across many boundaries, Kyushu and Taiwan
aim to become a new source of growth for Japan, Asia, and the world.
This partnership, where diverse wisdom and passion intersect,

Future Builders Program Concept
We believe everything begins with each person's inner questions and encounters.
The Future Builders Program is envisioned as a process-based program in which participants first reexamine their own passion and talent,
then carry out projects with peers across regions, cultures, and generations,
and eventually create concrete actions in society.
Through these steps of learning and challenge, we aim to nurture a cross-border talent network
and accelerate innovation that spreads from our regions to the world.
